Connecting apps and finding tools

Connecting apps

Under Connections → App connections you find Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Gmail, Calendar, Notion, GitHub and Shop. Once the connection service is set up, you see “Connect”: one click opens the provider's sign-in page; afterwards you come back and the app shows “connected”. Until then it honestly says “coming soon”.

  • Reading (e.g. viewing a profile or posts) works right away.
  • Anything that posts, sends or changes something shows up as an approval card and only runs after “Approve” – exactly once.
  • Private and Business have separate connections.
  • “Disconnect” removes the connection.

After returning from the sign-in page you see honestly what happened (“Connection saved.”, “The connection was cancelled – nothing is connected.” or “The connection did not work.”) and land on the page you came from. Connected apps are also used in team rooms: a step like “post on Instagram” appears as an app action to approve. If you let a project work on its own, that question is skipped – with a spending limit and a log.

Tool finder

When a task needs a tool (newsletter, customer management, accounting, social-media scheduling, calendar, shop, payments, forms, file storage), your companion shows a card: “Do you already use one?”

  • If you do: “I use …” – then connect it.
  • “No, recommend one”: two to three suggestions with a short reason, entry price (with source and date) and connection effort. Where no price is confirmed it says “Check the price on the provider's site”.
  • Nothing fits: describe briefly what you need – your companion then drafts a workflow (see “Skills”).
  • “Research live” looks up current providers and prices on the web; the results are marked “checked live” with a date.

In a team room, matching tools appear in the “Before we start” section.
