Skills
What are skills?
When your companion lacks an ability for something you want, it drafts a workflow from tools that already exist (e.g. read memory, workspace, research, connected apps, team room). A skill has a name, purpose, trigger, inputs, steps and checks. It contains no program code.
The brake
- A reviewer checks every draft: complete, only existing tools, nothing goes out without approval, no code.
- If the draft passes, it waits for you: it only becomes active with “Confirm”. If it fails, you see why. The only exception: in a project you explicitly let work autonomously, workflows approved by the reviewer become active without asking – this is listed in the log.
- Under Settings → Skills you turn skills on and off, delete them and see their steps. Your companion knows the active ones.
Built-in workflows
Four workflows come built in and are already active: newsletter, social media plan, invoice and quote. They write drafts – nothing goes out without approval. You find them under Settings → Skills and can turn them off or look at their steps.
Drafts come from the chat, from the tool finder (“None of these?”) or from a team room when a connection is not possible (“Let me draft a workflow”). Your companion needs an AI key to write a draft.
