Pilot phase

Security & privacy

Privacy mode

What does privacy mode do?

Under Settings → Privacy (or in Welcome step 1: “I work with sensitive customer data”) you turn on privacy mode for the active area. Your companion then replaces personal data with placeholders before anything goes to the AI model: names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, tax and ID numbers, dates of birth and addresses. “Anna Schneider” becomes “[Person 1]”, for example. In the answer you see the real details again.

  • Your companion recognises common first names itself. Add further names to the list “Names that are always protected”.
  • The mapping placeholder ↔ real value is stored encrypted, only in your area.
  • The log shows per call how many items of which kind were replaced – never the values.
  • Exceptions: the voice (conversation, read aloud, dictation), pictures and the web search during research run past privacy mode.

Sensitive documents

You can mark saved notes (under Second Brain) and read documents (on the project page) as sensitive. They never go to an AI model – even without privacy mode. If one would be needed, the chat shows a short note.
