Projects and roadmap

A project bundles everything that belongs to one plan: chats, tasks, notes, results and – when the Atelier is switched on – team rooms.

How does the roadmap work?

The roadmap is at the very top of every project page. It shows where the project is heading and how far it is:

  • Goal: one sentence about what the project is for. If the goal changes, the old version stays visible in the history.
  • Way to the goal: the milestones as stations. Stations reached light up green.
  • Progress: how many to-dos are already done.
  • What's next: the three to-dos that are due now.
  • Milestones and to-dos: you add them with “Create milestone” and “Create to-do”. The pencil edits a to-do, the box ticks it off.

When all to-dos of a milestone are done, the roadmap asks whether the milestone is reached (“Yes, reached” or “Later”). It is never set to reached on its own.

Chats, results and the project page

The project page shows everything that belongs to the project: chats, tasks, routines, open approvals, your results under “Artifacts”, the “Project memory” and what the project has cost so far. You can change it under “Edit project”.

  • Move a chat: in the chat, top right “…” › “Change project” – into an existing or a new project. All chats, archived ones too, are on the left under “Chats”; there you can also find a chat by its title.
  • To the Atelier: in the same window, “To the Atelier” – a team keeps working on the chat, and the chat stays linked. In the room you switch the project under “Change project”.
  • File an answer: below an answer, “File in a project” – it then appears on the project page under “Artifacts” and in the Second Brain under “Documents”.
  • Everything also works as a sentence, for example “Put this chat into the project Messe Izmir.” – more under “What you can say”.
